Game Overview
In the United States of America, this marks the end of Prohibition and the beginning of the Great Depression. The Stranger is a baffling member of the shadowy “Spookhouse,” which President Theodore Roosevelt established to combat supernatural beings. He looks into four cases that can be played in any order. They involve teaming up with a half-vampire to get a powerful artifact out of a castle in Germany, saving a town in the Wild West from zombies, fighting reanimated mobsters made by Al Capone in Chicago, and figuring out the mystery of a house with deadly traps. The action game Nocturne incorporates elements of survival horror. Characters and backgrounds in the game are rendered in 3D and have fixed camera angles. The Stranger fights monsters and mythological creatures primarily with firearms. The player has the option of manually aiming or selecting auto-aim from the menu.
