The third-person action adventure game Dino Crisis 2 is a sequel to the original. Dino Crisis 2 is more focused on shooting games, which is a departure from the survival horror theme of the first game. The run button was removed from the first game because the character always runs, a second gun can be carried, and more weapons were added. The game introduces new dinosaur and lizard species in addition to gameplay tweaks.
