Bits and bytes make up a thousand worlds that surround ours. Where do they go after they pass away? What secrets do they keep from you? Wayfarer, stumble through the ruins of a dying MMO. PAGAN: Autogeny is an experimental first-person open world role playing game that takes place in the digital ruins of a MMORPG that has mostly been abandoned. It is heavily influenced by bargain-bin adventure games from the 1990s that are long gone, as well as a general philosophy of user-friendly design. PAGAN: Autogeny is a case of aesthetic maximalism, or, to put it another way, it is quite large, at least by altGame standards. A full adventure will take several hours, but you can save and exit at any time by returning to the spawn. In the event that you need to get away quickly, the game also automatically saves when you pass through doors.
