Game Overview
In NIGHT AT THE GATES OF HELL, the dead will rise to exact their vengeance. Jordan King, the crazed mind behind Bloodwash, has created his most recent terror experiment. Night of the Gates of Hell promises to be a neon-soaked, flesh-rotting experience based on the Italian zombie films of Bruno Mattei and Lucio Fulci. I also got ideas from the first Resident Evil games, but I wanted to push myself and make it feel like a first-person RE game. That means that the zombies must be killed with headshots, which can be difficult to accomplish without fixed aiming! and to maintain the zombies’ menacing slowness. I wanted to keep this a tense, deliberate combat experience because most games seem to go with fast zombie hordes. King Jordan You’ll take on the role of David, a quiet man whose wife recently passed away. David lives alone in a seaside apartment with nothing to lose when a zombie outbreak destroys his city and disrupts his normal daily life. David realizes that he must fight his way to the truth behind the apocalypse by gunning and slashing through the hordes of zombies after gathering his thoughts, acquiring a few weapons, and meeting other survivors. You must solve puzzles to unlock new areas, collect resources, and fight zombies that can only be killed with a shot to the head to escape the city.
