Game Overview
Rail-shooter The House of the Dead Kill all the zombies while avoiding killing the humans and rescuing the girl as you progress through the four chapters with their various paths. The player gains temporary health and weapon upgrades by shooting various special targets along the way or within a certain time frame. The game’s Saturn version adds two additional modes known as Boss Mode and Saturn Mode. Saturn mode offers a variety of characters to choose from, but it plays like an arcade game. The choice of a character is important because they all have different characteristics, like how long it takes them to reload and how much damage they can take before dying. The Boss Mode lets the player battle one boss of their choosing or all four boss monsters in the game at the same time.
