Game Overview
A survival horror game, Uncanny Valley focuses on a chilling narrative, exploration, and action that makes your heart race. Special Edition: You can save money by purchasing this bundle, which includes both the game and the soundtrack. You take on the role of Tom, a remote facility security guard. While his coworker Buck is in charge of the day shift, he is in charge of the night shift. Tom starts exploring the facility because the nights are long, and he finds things he shouldn’t. Since the story is a big part of the game, saying more would be a big spoiler. The main thing that sets Uncanny Valley apart from other games is what we like to call the consequence system. The game continues even if you fail at something, with severe consequences for your character that can affect both the story and gameplay. For instance, if you are unable to evade your attackers, your character will move more slowly throughout the game, making it more difficult to flee in the future. The player then needs to be more careful and clever, which makes the game more stressful. Of course, you can make mistakes that cause you to die, but we try to avoid those as much as possible. Why? because dying and repeatedly reading the same section is tedious and frustrating. We believe that adding such a system will maintain the tension while adding a new layer of scariness because the game stops being frightening if you are enraged and just want to finish it quickly.
