Game Overview
The Sovereign Khan presides over Megacity S1-9 with iron and flesh fists. In an effort to kill him, a vengeful warrior sets out beneath the decaying foundations of the city. Slave Zero X takes place four years before the events of Slave Zero and introduces a new world in which the horrifying, living machines known as Slaves are preparing to become the most recent weapons of war in the long and bloody history of humanity. One swordsman in the shadowy group of warriors known as The Guardians has a different plan to prevent these biomecha from being unleashed on the world: employ the weapon of the adversary against them. Shou will transform into a ferocious devil in pursuit of the assassination of a fictitious God by merging with a stolen Slave Unit Prototype.
MASSIVE COMBOS: An army of meat and metal will be defeated by stylish combos, quick swordplay, and explosive weapons.
DEATH FROM THE UPPER: You can defeat enemies of any size by air juggling, dash, and frequently switching targets, and wall jumping and platforming can help you outmaneuver your opponents.
CONQUER YOUR LIFE: Conquer mini-bosses, set pieces, and climactic one-on-one encounters with memorable villains that present intense challenges.
Without control, strength is nothing: To create devastating attack sequences, use the Training Room to fine-tune precise and potent moves.
Fight TO THE BEAT: Heavy Drum’n’Bass and funky industrial music from the 1990s serve to enhance the action-packed soundtrack.
EAT WHAT YOU SEE: An innovative lighting system and stylized 3D environments are combined with nostalgic 2D sprites to create a distinctive visual style.
There is always more to come: A procedural challenge tower with an online high score leaderboard and an expansive, frantic “Crimson Citadel” campaign await after completion.
