Vengeance of Mr. Peppermint is a brutal, side-scrolling beat-em-up that takes its inspiration from classic Korean crime dramas. Find out who gives orders at the top of the crime ladder as Mr. Peppermint, a hard-boiled detective driven to the extreme, and carry out brutal, bloody vengeance. Incalculable lawbreakers invade a shabby underside, with an evil clique harming the guts of this carcass of a city. Use anything Peppermint can get his hands on to destroy anyone standing in his way. Beware that this detective may be his own worst enemy as you wade through mountains of bodies and wipe the edges of Peppermint’s suit with blood. A brother and sister were kidnapped by a serial killer long ago. The boy miraculously made it out, but the girl didn’t have as much luck. Twenty years later, the boy, now a man, has become a detective like his father, believing that order and law are the foundation of society. He is, however, peering into the abyss of rage as his grief and pain have driven him to the edge of madness. He must now, with vehement clarity, execute the murderer responsible for his sister’s death, regardless of who stands in his way. Peppermint develops into a lethal machine as a result of his obsession with retribution. Execute brutal kills and choreograph combos using extremely precise controls. Ad lib weapons in the climate and pulverize foes into a fine red fog like snares, meat processors, or broilers… anything can finish a thug’s crook vocation. A frenzy of vengeance can negatively affect Mr. Peppermint. His actions become more cruel, the narrative becomes more twisted, and his mental state deteriorates.
