Game Overview
Mayday! A slew of alien beings have broken into the Peggle Institute. You, Peggle Master, are responsible for reporting to duty and eliminating the pests through shooting and bouncing. Engage in energizing arcade fun that is now exclusively themed with The Orange Box artwork and sounds. Peggle Extreme is a truly one-of-a-kind game that combines elements of pachinko and pinball to deliver fast-paced puzzle action. Similar to the original Peggle, Peggle Extreme requires players to fire a metallic silver ball from the top of the screen in order to ricochet off orange and blue “pegs” and use gravity to propel the ball downward. The objective is to eliminate all orange pegs from the screen before there are no more balls. Free balls are provided by a moving “bucket” at the bottom of the screen, and green power-up and purple “bonus multiplier” pegs provide additional twists. Bjorn the Unicorn is the only power-up in Peggle Extreme. His special ability is a “super-guide” sighting ability that lets players see where their next shot will go after one or two initial bounces.
