Game Overview
Built entirely from scratch Ancient Battle: Rome gives an interesting wargaming experience. Utilize Roman legionaries, elephants, launches, weighty and light cavalry, bowmen, slingers, fan and numerous other unit types to take part in exemplary fights.
There are a total of 63 missions in the game, including the classic siege of Alesia from Caesar’s campaign in Gaul and the battle of Pharsalus from Pompey the Great’s campaign.
The new Macintosh release incorporates every one of the missions from the iOS form, for example, the intrusion of Brittania with the feature of Sovereign Boudicca’s downfall at the skirmish of Verulamum, and Germania with the Roman slaughter at Teutoburger Wald.
It also includes the Pontic campaign against Mithridates the Great and the infamous Parthia campaign, in which a whole Roman army was killed in the desert. These later missions add completely defensively covered cataphracts, light and scythed chariots, light cavalry bowmen and the Greek Pike Phalanx to the game framework.
