Game Overview
You must hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and construct shelters to withstand the elements as a naked man or woman stranded on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK. The leviathan dinosaurs and other ancient creatures roaming the land can be killed or tamed and bred with your cleverness and resources. You can team up with hundreds of other players or prey on them to survive, dominate, and escape! Unreal Engine 4, with fully dynamic lighting and global illumination, weather systems (rain, fog, snow, etc.), true-to-life volumetric cloud simulation, and the most recent advanced DirectX11 and DirectX12 rendering techniques, is used to bring the over-the-top hyper real imagery of the ARK and its creatures to expressive life. Music by Gareth Coker, the “Ori and the Blind Forest” composer who has won awards!
