A sudden and unidentified rise in the sea level will soon submerge much of human civilization. Ikaruga Natsuki, a kid who lost his mom and his leg in a mishap a few years sooner, returns frustrated from an unforgiving life in the huge city to find his old wide open home half-gulped by the ocean. He has no family, and the ship and submarine his oceanographer grandmother gave him and her debts are all he has to his name. His main desire to reestablish the fantasies for the future that he has lost is to pursue up an open door introduced to him by the dubious obligation gatherer Catherine. They set forth to look through the submerged remnants of his grandma’s research center to find a fortune gossip says she left there. Yet, what they find isn’t wealth or gems; At the bottom of the sea, a strange girl is asleep in a coffin. Atri. Even though Atri is a robot, her appearance and plethora of emotions would make anyone believe she is a real person.
