Game Overview
Big Trucks: The third-person racing video game Over the Road Racing, also known as Big Rigs, was released in 2003 by GameMill Publishing for Microsoft Windows PC systems. It was developed by Stellar Stone. The game was released with a lot of unfinished parts, and many of them don’t work at all. According to the game’s packaging, the primary objective of Big Rigs is to race a semi-trailer truck, also known as a “big rig,” in order to safely deliver illegal cargo while avoiding the local police. In point of fact, there are no police in the game, no such objectives are provided, and the truck does not have a load attached to it. Instead, most of the game is about racing your truck to the finish line against other drivers; However, in earlier versions, the player’s computer-controlled adversary vehicles never left their starting position and lack AI. In a subsequent version, the opponent controlled by a computer will race around the track before coming to a stop just before the finish line. The game’s timer is merely decorative and does not restrict gameplay.
