Game Overview
based on actual events that took place in the Pennsylvania town of Centralia. I had a regular job, a loving wife, and a beautiful daughter. I had no idea what would transpire on that fateful May day in 1992. Henry Nelson is my name, and I’m going to tell you a horrifying tale. Seven years ago, my wife vanished without a trace. Centralia, a quiet, small town, was the scene of a terrible accident. The coal deposits beneath the town were consumed by an underground fire that had begun. According to rumors, the avaricious authorities of the town dug so deeply that they discovered something terrible and horrifying. As per a few the frightened diggers in their frenzy caused the underground fire. Near the epicentre of the find, it is said, nearly everyone went insane. Centralia vanished into oblivion. My daughter Shirley is among the few town residents who were saved. I was out of town on a business trip at the time of the tragedy. It seemed as though my daughter had been replaced after the disaster. We moved to a state that was nearby. On her birthday today, I went into her room and discovered a note she had written. She was going to Centralia to find her mother, it said. In addition, I followed her!
