Game Overview
Conarium is a terrifying Lovecraftian game about four scientists’ efforts to test what we normally consider to be the “absolute” limits of nature. largely based on the original story, but influenced by the novella At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft. You, as Straightforward Gilman, open your eyes inside a room loaded up with unusual, throbbing commotions. Examples of lights executing a Danse Shocking on the walls is introduced by a strange gadget on the table. You find Upuaut, an Antarctic base near the South Pole, deserted and have a strong sense that something is seriously wrong despite having no other recollection than that you are there. You will soon discover that you have died after using the device during the expedition, but that you have returned subtly altered, speaking of strange memories and strange places. Knowing that your memories cannot guide you enforces a strange feeling of vulnerability, a familiar yet alien sensation of being a part of a strange whole. You have lost something significant or acquired something vile. Explore your dreams and visions as well as the Antarctic base. Concentrate on pieces of information and open mysteries, while keeping away from shocking creatures at all expense.
