Game Overview
You can lead an expeditionary force from one of five European nations or a native civilization in Conquest of the New World. In order to gain control of the New World in the sixteenth century, compete against other players. Conquest of the New World is not a simulation of the actual discovery and colonization of the Americas; rather, it is generated at the start of each game, making each New World and game unique.
Explore the New World, establish prosperous colonies, produce and trade goods, and either eliminate your adversaries or defend your claims against them are your responsibilities. For each game, each player sets his own goals. Finding a lot of new landmarks in the New World and establishing a lot of colonies may be the most important aspects of the game for some players. The game gets a few new features in the Deluxe Edition. It primarily adds the ability to customize the world and create and play scenarios. Additionally, you can now form trade alliances with other nations and benefit from a variety of new bonuses, special resources, and discoveries.
