Game Overview
Hellfire was developed by Synergistic Software and released in 1997. It was not endorsed or labeled by Blizzard and was not an official Blizzard product. Despite this, Blizzard has granted permission for it to be included as a free add-on with Diablo purchases on GOG.COM in response to Diablo players’ requests to experience the content. A non-canonical single-player storyline in Hellfire requires players to defeat Na-Krul, a powerful demon who is threatening Tristram. A Monk class, new weapons and items, new missions, locations, dungeons, and enemies are also included in the expansion. When Diablo I launches, Hellfire will be accessible.
