In this brand-new game in the storied beat ’em up series, get ready to fight like Double Dragon. It is the year 199X, and New York City has been devastated by a nuclear war, forcing its residents to fight for their lives amid riots and criminal activity. Criminal gangs have taken control of the city and now terrorize its ruins as they vie for total control. Young Billy and Jimmy Lee decide to drive the gangs out of their city because they can’t stand these conditions any longer. In this alternate story, learn about the young Double Dragon brothers’ beginnings as they face new and old foes. Every playthrough in this innovative take on the roguelite genre is a brand-new opportunity for action. The difficulty of the missions you complete will change depending on the order in which you select them, thanks to the game’s distinctive and dynamic level structure. You can experiment with nine additional unlockable characters, each with their own special moves and playstyles, or you can tag in and out as the classic duo Billy and Jimmy. You can also play as Marian and Uncle Matin to switch things up. The action quadruples when you and a friend clean up the mean streets in two-player local co-op.

Earn tokens along the way to unlock a diverse roster of 9 more characters, each with their own playstyle and strengths. Strategically choose your fighting duo by taking into account each characters’ strengths and weaknesses.
• SHAPE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND REWARDS – Adjust game difficulty to affect the amount of tokens earned per session and use those tokens to unlock content from the Token Shop including characters, tips, and more. Modifier can be used to enter permadeath or even infinite mode.
• LOCAL CO-OP – Grab a friend and clean up the city streets together in local co-op mode that supports up to two players.
