You will become The Veilguard if you lead a group of seven companions, each with a unique story to discover and shape. In Dragon AgeTM, unite the Veilguard and defy the gods: The Veilguard, an immersive single-player role-playing game in which you take on the role of a leader who inspires others. Enter Thedas, a vibrant world of glittering cities, perilous labyrinths, and rugged wilderness. While corrupt gods wreck havoc across the continent, the world is perilously close to collapse. Factions split and nations fight. Who can you rely on? This is a broken world, from the Arlathan Forest to the Minrathous back alleys. The destiny of Thedas will always be influenced by your actions. You can begin your journey as Rook, the newest hero of Dragon Age. You can choose from a variety of races and combat classes, customize your appearance, and select the backstory of your character. Your decision is final. You’ll learn new skills and find powerful, one-of-a-kind artifacts that will help you fight better during your adventures. Prepare for this: There are difficult choices to make, allies to motivate, and a battle that calls for every sword, staff, and bow you can muster.

Experience new strategic depth as you combine fast-paced attacks, parries, and dodges with the companion ability wheel to exploit enemy weaknesses and seize victory with devastating combat combos. Customize a combat style that works for you.
- Deep RPG Progression — Level up your Rook and companions with their own skill trees. Choose perks and combat abilities as you climb towards more powerful specializations.
