Game Overview
Fog blankets the entire globe. Those who survive the fog claim that it brings their worst nightmares to life. Everyone has an idea, but no one knows where it came from. Some attribute it to a flawed experiment, while others attribute it to divine intervention. You, too? The rumor that the Sun is just above the horizon is all you know. The Engineer is you. The ideal system has been created by you: a train that is protected from the fog and is prepared to rescue survivors and take them to heaven. If only they would just listen… Fear Equation is a turn-based strategy game with elements of roguelike gameplay in which you must take control of a modified freight train in a scenario where the world is ending. A thick, deadly fog has covered the land, bringing to life the nightmares of those inside. Tactical planning and careful resource management are essential to your survival. As the Engineer, you’ll have to rescue survivors, investigate their dreams, and construct defenses to ward off their own fantasies. Adding to the confusion, passengers will form inter-carriage factions based on their beliefs regarding the fog’s origin.
