Game Overview
Through their mako reactors, the Shinra Electric Power Company has effectively taken control of the entire planet by exploiting mako, the planet’s lifeblood. One of the last vestiges of resistance is a ragtag group of idealists known as the Avalanche. Cloud, a mercenary turned elite SOLDIER, participates in an Avalanche mission to destroy Mako Reactor 1 in Midgar. Cloud is haunted by visions of a bitter enemy that he had long assumed was dead as the city is thrown into fiery chaos as a result of the bombing. A story that will shape the future of the entire world begins once more. This game is a remake of the 1997 original FINAL FANTASY VII. It is the first game in a series that has multiple parts and is based on the story from the first game all the way up to the escape from Midgar with new elements.
