FIRST FRONT MISSION: Remake is a turn-based tactical RPG that puts you in command of the incredible Wanzers, which are powerful military machines.
Take on the role of brave pilots navigating treacherous battlefields where every strategic move brings the actual realities of war to life. The game features a comprehensive combat and battle system as well as a narrative that has been carefully crafted to surprise players at every turn. All of these features are enhanced by new graphics and a rearranged soundtrack, elevating the classic Front Mission series’ gaming experience. In the year 2090, massive war machines known as Wanzers are used to fight global conflicts. Huffman Island is a conflict hotspot because it is the only location where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) share a land border. A U.C.S. munitions plant will be the subject of an investigation by an O.C.U. reconnaissance platoon led by Captain Royd Clive. They are caught in an ambush by U.C.S. Wanzers, which sets off a series of events that send the island as a whole into war. Lieutenant Karen Meure, Royd’s fiancée, is shot and killed. Royd embarks on an investigation into Karen’s plight after receiving his discharge from the military. His quest brings him ever closer to the forces that orchestrated the incident and the conspiracy that led to it. Front Mission is the classic of the tactical Japanese RPG genre, finally available worldwide, with dozens of characters to meet, a mature story, and non-Manichean protagonists.
