Game Overview
The game takes place in 1999, and you play as a young man who just bought his first computer at a used goods store. Oliver, a game developer who had killed himself months earlier, owned the machine he was holding. He left behind a number of files, one of which was a build of his most ambitious project, which was never going to be released. Would you dare to play it? You will be free to explore Oliver’s files, notes, and game within the operating system at your own pace. You can get rid of the bad files on your computer by using the operating system’s resources, but it won’t be easy because Oliver is very proud of his creations and doesn’t want anyone to mess with them. All of the game’s art was made to look like an old OS interface, complete with a lot of details and hidden features, to make the game feel more like a 90s experience. The “game within the game” also adheres to the same aesthetic, featuring pixelated textures, limited color palette, and a gruesome atmosphere.
