God’s Basement is a horror game for one person, first-person, and narrative-driven. The more you look, the more you remember about your previous life and the horrors that went along with it. Find out who is sentenced in God’s Basement and what the secret to it is. As the horrors of the past come to life in the world around you, fight the fear that is creeping into your mind. The faint sound of a phone ringing in the room next to you wakes you up in a normal, almost monotonous office. The caller, who goes by the name “The Operator,” gives you a set of instructions to follow. The papers scattered about the room suggest that you are in God’s Basement, a particular form of the afterlife. The Operator keeps telling you to go deeper into God’s Basement and explore its depths. At the same time, he tells you about your previous life and the horrors that came with it.
