Game Overview
It’s back in Grand Theft Auto. The cars are going faster. It is busier on the streets. The bad guys are more vicious. The police are more enraged. The Army and the FBI are now getting involved. It’s up to you to make a name for yourself in a power struggle between seven ruthless gangs. Respect is not given; it is earned. The game takes place in the not-yet-determined future. Grand Theft Auto 2 only has one town, but it is divided into three districts that can be unlocked one at a time, unlike the first game, which had three distinct cities. residential, commercial, and downtown areas The player, like in the original, answers phones to start different missions. The game features a 3D landscape with an overhead camera, allowing the player to freely explore the city and steal any vehicle they spot. The player must achieve a certain score by completing missions and committing crimes in order to unlock new districts.
