Game Overview
Hellboy Web of Wyrd was developed by Upstream Arcade and features artwork that is faithful to Mike Mignola’s original masterpieces. Hellboy embarks on a series of completely original and vastly different adventures in the game, just like in the comics; and keeping in mind that every story remains all alone, they are attached to the puzzling tradition of The Butterfly House. The Butterfly House was built in 1962 by occultist Pasquale Deneveaux. It is more than just a house; It is a doorway. Its bizarre angles and non-Euclidean geometries, which are based on occult ley-energies, were designed for a single evil purpose: to open doors that lead to The Wyrd, a terrifying but fascinating dimension. Face (or foot to-foot) with a zoo of terrible animals and homunculi as you investigate the domains inside the Wyrd. Combat has been designed to make encounters that are challenging and require you to learn patterns, dodge, parry, and, of course, punch your enemies out of the way.
