Game Overview
June, 1983. The heat of summer has arrived earlier than it typically does. By day there are cicadas, and around evening time, the higurashi. Hinamizawa, a little town in the Japanese open country. Even though there are less than 2,000 people there each year, “something” happens. For the beyond 4 years, somebody has kicked the bucket, and another person has disappeared. This series of passings and vanishings is associated with the nearby opposition against a now-deserted dam development project. An annual reenactment of a construction-related murder that the local authorities covered up takes place. Is there a plot? Is this a fluke? or maybe a curse? The person who wasn’t supposed to be there isn’t. Someone who shouldn’t be there actually is. Somebody who was alive last evening is presently dead, and somebody who is here on the right track currently isn’t alive. It is basically impossible to turn away this misfortune. The only option is to give up trying. Nevertheless, please do not give up.
