Game Overview
You take on the role of Albert, a man who works as a night shift security guard at a Brooklyn subway station, in the psychological horror game “Homeless.” Albert notices a strange figure in the restricted railway while checking the security cameras. It is a strangely tall skinny man in dirty clothes!
Like usual, Albert initially believes he is dealing with a harmless and vulnerable homeless person. He realizes, however, that he is in for a night of madness as he learns about the person’s crimes. With his bizarre handwritten notes, this man intends to shake your sanity and challenge your beliefs. He probably lays in wait there, staring at you, during this nightmare night as you move through the darkness! You won’t be able to tell who he is or what he wants until you find out who he is, though.
Homeless is a dark psychological horror game set in New York City’s rough neighborhoods in the 1990s. The Unreal Engine 5 is used in the game to create a terrifying night’s atmosphere that is both realistic and absorbing.
The player’s sense of responsibility as a security guard is emphasized throughout the gameplay. The goal of the level design is to make you feel like a real security guard. Like a real security guard, you’ll have to check the CCTV, walk around the area, and look into anything that looks suspicious.
Instead of focusing on complicated and tedious mechanics, this game focuses on a straightforward but stressful story.
Exploration, crime scene investigation, solving puzzles, and occasionally gunplay are all game mechanics.
