Game Overview
Following news of her father’s sudden disappearance, Lily Velez, the famous archaeologist’s daughter, returns to her family’s estate. Lily begins her search with the intention of locating clues to her father’s whereabouts and evidence to support her claim that he was innocent of a company scandal. She is, however, about to discover something that will significantly extend her investigation. something that will necessitate her fighting for her very existence. As Lily uncovers the ominous and heinous past that can be found within the walls of the House of Velez, you can be transported into Lily’s worst nightmare. House of Velez is a horror game with elements of puzzle and stealth. Instead of combat, it places an emphasis on sneaking, running, and hiding strategies for overcoming obstacles. There is a mode called “Focus Mode” in the game that lets you keep an eye on your own noise levels and see the range of your pursuers’ vision and hearing. Another feature is “Heart Rate Suppression,” which prevents you from moving but makes you “invisible” when used correctly. Titles like “Haunting Ground” and even movies like “Hellraiser” from the 1980s serve as sources of inspiration for “House of Velez.”
