“Impossible Creatures” is a 3-D, real-time strategy game made by Relic Entertainment, the same company that made “Homeworld,” “Dawn of War,” and “Company of Heroes.” It takes place in a fantastic 1930s world and pits the player against an evil villain in a desperate battle on a chain of diverse and remote islands. The player must construct an army of genetically altered mutant monsters using Earth’s most formidable animals as building blocks in a titanic battle to defend an unsuspecting world.
