Game Overview
The Jungle Book: Based on the Jurassic Park films, Operation Genesis is a construction and management simulation game for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. The main objective of the game is to recreate Jurassic Park by creating a five-star dinosaur theme park and realizing John Hammond’s dream. The player constructs paths, visitor amenities like food, restrooms, enclosures, and attractions in the park. Additionally, it is necessary to safeguard the park. From the three Jurassic Park movies, twenty-five distinct species of dinosaurs can be found in the park, making it possible for up to sixty of them to live there. The player can also add attractions like the safari from Jurassic Park and additional attractions like a balloon tour and a variety of viewing platforms that are similar to those in the movies. The primary objective of the player is to establish a popular dinosaur-themed theme park or zoo, make it safe, and give it a 5-star rating. The SimCity and Tycoon game models are very similar to the gameplay functions. Plant feed bales for herbivores and live cows or goats for carnivores must be provided at feeding stations. However, if there aren’t enough trees or dinosaurs nearby for herbivores to socialize with, they become unhappy. Additionally, since carnivores have an inborn desire to hunt other dinosaurs, even a steady supply of livestock will not satisfy them.
