A mad king wants every child to be perfect in the dystopian world of My Beautiful Paper Smile. For him, perfection is a huge, happy smile that he wears constantly. Bright and never sagging. You are one of the happy people because the authorities took that child, who has only ever known the facility and the smiling mask he wears. The Happy are monitored by the Authorities and kept on a short leash as they undergo daily tests to ensure that their subjects only experience happiness. They are taken away and never seen again if they display sadness. Take a dark episodic journey with the Joyous as he travels the world. My Beautiful Paper Smile is a horror adventure that will have you running, ducking, and trying to figure out how to get out of the Joyous facility and into the world beyond. It will make you run away from your nightmares. Use stealth to get around obstacles and the authorities, but don’t go too long without light because being in the dark for too long will kill you and the faceless monster that is after you.
