You are a soldier who awakens in the midst of the night. The castle you are obligated to guard is completely corrupt, and a creature you have never seen has caused you fear and rendered you unable to even see it. Even though a few hours ago everything was normal, you still don’t know how this all happened. You must look ahead and carry out your responsibilities, despite the pressure you are under. NOREN is a straightforward key-finding game. The game’s map is made up of several distinct regions, some of which have unique game mechanics aside from finding keys. You have to guess the correct order of actions because some features trigger each other. The game’s end will be affected by any changes you make. You must carry out all of this while maintaining your sanity in the shadows and with the lantern that gradually dims, despite the numerous creatures that are scattered about.
