Game Overview
When the Allies launched two major operations in the summer of 1944 to simultaneously drive back German forces on both the Western and Eastern Fronts, the Second World War entered its final phase. Bagration and Overlord were their names. Overlord is famous for starting with the D-Day landings in Normandy and ending with the Liberation of Paris. On the other hand, Bagration, a much smaller but still significant Russian operation, crushed the German invasion forces in the east and forced them to withdraw completely from Soviet territory. History could have been very different had either operation failed. In the ultimate test of military strategy, Order of War puts you in charge of the German forces tasked with repelling the Red Army’s seemingly unstoppable offensive in the east and leading America’s finest to victory in the west.
