Game Overview
The Chernobyl Exclusion Zone has changed dramatically after the second massive explosion in 2006. Fierce mutants, deadly anomalies and opposing factions make survival in the Zone an extremely difficult place. Nevertheless, incredibly valuable relics have attracted many people, the so-called S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s, who entered the Zone at their own risk to make fortunes or find the truth hidden in the heart of Chernobyl. Take on the role of a lone stalker and explore a photorealistic, seamless open world in a 64 km square radioactive zone with a variety of environments that reveal the post-apocalyptic atmosphere from different angles. Choose your path in a highly branching epic storyline and determine your fate as you make your way through the Zone. Meet members of different factions and decide who is worthy of your friendship and who is worthy of a bullet. Use different tactics and engage in intense gunfights with different enemies who will try to outwit you. Choose your favorite firearm from over 30 weapon types and make numerous modifications to create hundreds of unique deadly combinations. Be prepared for terrifying mutant creatures who will try to slaughter you following different behavior patterns. Each mutant can appear in different subtypes, making their behavior less predictable. Areas with caves where many mutants hunt in large groups pose extreme danger indeed.
