Game Overview

SAMARA is a first individual, single player mental endurance ghastliness game. The game unfurls as Player decides to research the puzzling vanishing of his uncle, whom he hasn’t heard from in north of a year. He has no clue about that this apparently standard visit will send him into a frightening encounter beyond anything he could ever imagine. The player finds an unsettling silence that hangs heavy in the air when he arrives at his uncle’s isolated estate. Suddenly, the familiar surroundings feel cramped, as if there are undead monsters lurking in the shadows. As he carefully investigates the faintly lit corridors and neglected corners of the house, a feeling of premonition increases with each step. The nightmare begins with the discovery of a single doll that appears to be harmless. The doll’s glassy eyes seem to follow the player wherever he goes, which makes them feel inherently wrong. Its presence likewise inspires an unexplainable sensation of fear. The player is inexorably drawn back to the eerie doll as the night progresses and the tension builds, its presence serving as a constant reminder of the evil forces at work. In a final, terrifying showdown that unleashes a terror beyond description, the doll’s true nature is revealed. In order to survive the night and learn the terrifying truth about his uncle’s disappearance, the player must confront the darkest parts of himself, straining his nerves and threatening to lose his mind. Even as the nightmare fades and daylight breaks, the doll’s eerie gaze continues to serve as a disturbing reminder of the horrors that lie just below the surface.
