Game Overview
The sequel to the original Samurai Warriors is the hack-and-slash game Samurai Warriors 2. Samurai Warriors 2 builds on the first Samurai Warriors game by adding new characters and features. For instance, instead of using the standard range attacks, each character now has two distinct special abilities. The Survival Mode is a feature from the original Samurai Warriors that has returned. The player controls a character and fights through an endless castle in this mode. An additional feature of the game is a Sugoroku mini-game. This mode can be played by up to four people, and each player must select a character. The objective of the game is to acquire the specified quantity of gold (based on the player’s settings).
