Game Overview
Severance: The story of four characters in Blade of Darkness centers on their struggle against a wicked Necromancer and their search for a legendary sword. A Knight, a Barbarian, a Dwarf, and a Ranger or Amazon-type female character are available to the player. While each character begins in a different location, they all end up in the same levels in the end. However, the order of the stages can be changed because, between each one, a world map tells you where you should go next—perhaps to the Dwarven Mines for assistance or to the Orcs’ home to face them.
