Smoking Gun is a shoot ’em up arcade game for one player with a western theme and vertical scrolling. Smoking Gun is an independent spiritual successor to a classic arcade game from the 1990s that tests your reflexes and accuracy with a new story and modern game engine.
The outlaws are hell-bent on vengeance after members of the notorious Red Rock Raiders gang mysteriously vanished, and they intend to take Hickstown hostage. The well-known Arizona Ranger rides in to help the Sheriff and his deputies out of the dire situation that they are in as cries for assistance echo throughout the Red Rock Valley. He is armed with his reliable big iron. He has no idea just how dark and deep the abyss is that lies ahead…
