Game Overview
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is a dark open-world fantasy RPG full of quests, loot, choices and monsters, set on a desolate island on the brink of destruction. King Arthur is long dead and all myths and legends have been shattered. The inhabitants of Avalon are desperate to find a new way to live and something to believe in. The plague of the Red Death and the spreading Wildness don’t help. Time is running out and several factions have their own plans for the island’s future. You find yourself trapped in a dank underground cell in a realm that is slowly but surely descending into chaos. At this point you are nothing, but maybe you will be the one to bring a spark of change to this land of perpetual autumn. Roam without limits, finding unexpected quests and adventures in every corner of the island. Explore hidden caverns and dungeons, roam ancient ruins, discover secrets big and small, and piece it all together. The mysterious and complex history of the Tainted Grail spans 1,000 years, from the moment King Arthur led his people to the shores of Avalon. Journey through Avalon to uncover the dark secrets behind the Age of Conquest, the Predwellers, and the Wildness itself. The game is inspired by and based on the lore of the board game of the same name, created by Krzysztof Piskorski, one of Poland’s greatest fantasy authors.
