A short narrative-driven, non-linear exploration game with horror elements, The Moon Sliver It has a novel narrative mechanic that blurs the line between exploration and story. Fragments of narration can be revealed by interacting with objects or just moving around. A tale of faith, loneliness, and guilt emerges as you piece these fragments together. The Moon Sliver is best viewed as an experiment in exploration-focused storytelling, blurring the line between novelette and game, and it becomes increasingly obvious that something is hunting you. Through an interactive medium, it aims to tell a story that is deceptively complex and poetic. It rewards players who actively try to figure things out for themselves and ask questions. Keep your flashlight charged as you explore the island and wait for night to fall. Find the answers. This is not a collection from the Unity Asset Store. Everything from models to music to environments to programming was done from scratch. Stock images served as the basis for textures. Creative Commons samples were used to create the sound effects.
