Game Overview
1917: Welcome to the Trenches. A first-person horror survival game set during World War I in which you play as James R., a soldier caught behind enemy lines, as you fight for your life and your sanity in this surreal nightmare. You must survive and escape the harsh war-torn environment. You only have your hearing, a trench whistle, and the chilling story to guide you through the horrors. You can escape the enemy trenches without being discovered and return to your family by looking for clues. Make an effort to get away by looking for important clues and learning what’s going on. Trenches is a psychological horror game in which your only options for escape are to use your senses and your hearing to use your trench whistle to guide you. However, using your trench whistle comes at a cost because the enemy can hear it. If you break any bottles or walk on wood that creaks, enemies will also be able to hear you. With caution, try to get out of the trenches because every turn could be your last.
