Are you a generous and kind leader? A tyrant who is ruthless and corrupt and rules with an iron fist? Make your island a destination for tourists or an industrial power. In order to obtain the crucial votes for the upcoming elections, make promises to the electorate or slander political adversaries. Send your avatar to congratulate the people, visit another player’s island, or simply take a Caribbean beach sunbathing. Make the Cold War superpowers work against each other to the fullest. Tropico 3 offers a lighthearted take on real-world issues like corruption, totalitarianism, and politics in the third world.
