Game Overview
Real Crime: Luxoflux developed New York City, an open-world action-adventure video game for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube, in 2005. Aspyr brought it to Microsoft Windows, and Hands-On Mobile brought it to mobile devices. In True Crime, players take on the role of a rogue street cop and control the ultimate power: City of New York. Gamers take on the role of Marcus Reed, a former criminal who has become a cop. They use and abuse their authority to find the person who killed Marcus’ mentor and clean up Harlem to Chinatown and the rest of Manhattan. Players must contend with crooks, Marcus’s past, and everything else the city has to offer as they are led through a murderous web of gangs and deception by undercover investigators.
