Game Overview
Propaganda Games created the first-person shooter Turok, which Disney Interactive Studios and Touchstone Games released in February 2008 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In April 2008, it was ported to Microsoft Windows. A sequel for the Xbox 360 was planned and developed, but it was shelved before it was even made public. The story and setting of previous Turok video games are unrelated to the game, which is loosely based on the same title comic book series. Players take on the role of Native American space marine Joseph Turok, who is a member of a team sent to a faraway planet to capture General Roland Kane, his former commanding officer who is now a wanted war criminal. Turok discovers, after crash landing, that this planet is home to a wide variety of dinosaurs and that he must fight Kane’s private army and the predatory creatures on his mission to eliminate his former mentor.
