Game Overview
Xargon Remake Ep.3 is a run-and-gun 2D action platformer in which level completion propels the player through a game map. Each level has its remarkable nonlinear design, where the player should investigate and find entryway keys and curios for movement, as well as new adversaries, thing pickups and different enhancers.
This is a remake of the classic DOS game Xargon, which was released in 1993 and was developed by Epic Megagames under Allen Pilgrim’s direction. This version is a remake of the third episode in the original game, which had three episodes.
Key features:
- The graphics in each level layout, from the original game, have been replaced with new assets and textures.
- All enemies’ sprites from the original game are enhanced and upscaled, as well as new enemies and bosses are introduced.
- New captivating music tracks are introduced for some stages in the game.
