Game Overview
Zoo Tycoon is a simulation game that lets players build their very own zoo, but not just any zoo. It is an insidiously addictive game. It’s completely unstructured: Your exhibits should begin with fences. After that, select animals and give them toys, foliage, and anything else you want. You can create paths for your customers to follow, then add food stands, rides, rides for kids, maps, and trash cans. Unsure of what you require? You can learn how to make the animals happy from the zoo staff, and customers will tell you what they want, whether it’s snacks or more animals. When you want to add a macrauchenia or a Loch Ness Monster, the extensive background information on each creature—its diet, its habitat, etc.—can be helpful. There are over 100 animals to choose from, as well as numerous habitat and park decorations. The inclusion of the expansion packs Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs, which allow you to add dolphin shows to your zoo as well as a T-Rex or woolly mammoth, makes Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection particularly compelling.
